Due to recent concerns surrounding COVID-19, RMHC Global has implemented several mandates to ensure the safety of the families we serve. Many of our guests interact with children who have weak or compromised immune systems and we will be taking extra precautions for the time being. Here are some important updates that you need to be aware of:
- All volunteer engagement, including our Chef Program, will be suspended until further notice
- All tours are suspended
- Acceptable donations: grocery store gift cards (Walmart, Save Mart, etc.), frozen meals (store bought only), non-perishable and individually wrapped snacks (store bought only)
Give the Gift of Time. Volunteer.
Beyond the practical and emotional support volunteers give, they have a profound effect on the cost of operating our programs. Whether it is helping in the office, working in the Ronald McDonald Family Room or cooking for our families, we are always in need of more volunteers.
What to Expect
All volunteers will be required to attend a Volunteer Meet and Greet. You may also be asked to attend a Volunteer Training and have a background check completed depending on the type of tasks you will be performing. To volunteer in the RMHC Family Room, you will also need to take a TB test, submit a Renown Health volunteer application and go through Renown’s training process.
